Essential oils can be used for a wide range of common ailments. In certain oils care should be taken as they can cause irritation and phototoxin. Therefore before using such essential oils in a blend safety data on oils should be referred to in the chapter "Essential oils Safety Guide". The most commonly used and freely available essential oils for some ailments and their suggested application are mentioned below in good faith. The author does not take any responsibility whatsoever for its use and misuse.
Acne :
T.Tree

Since this is a water based blend, the oil floats on the surface. Shake well and apply 2 to 3 times daily.
Oily Skin :
Ylang

After blending the carrier oils add the essential oils. Apply 6 to 8 drops of the mix in the morning and night. This blend can also be used for facial massages.
Dry Skin :

Blend the carrier oils first and then add the essential oils to it. Apply 10 to 15 drops at a time. This blend can also be used for facial massages.
Anti - Wrinkle :

Blend the carrier oils first and then add the essential oils to it. Apply 2 to 3 times daily. This blend can also be used for facial massages.
Pigmentation’s/Dark circles under the eyes :

This recipe does not fall under the usual standards of blending in Aromatherapy but has proved to be beneficial, though not 100%. Blend the carrier oils first and then add the essential oils to it. Apply on the effected areas. Care should be taken so that the oil does not come in direct contact with the eyes. Apply twice daily.
Warts & Corns :
Cinnamon leaf

Add the essential oils to the carrier oil and apply on the effected parts. Apply 2 to 3 times daily.
Stretch Marks :

This blend can be used as an Inhalant by applying a few drops on a hanky or in a vaporiser. In a bath use 8 to 10 drops or compress 10 drops in a bowl of water or by massaging 20 to 25 drops in a carrier oil.
